Now the New album is Out, will it carries on the Success? Let's Find out.

Now don't get me wrong, you may find something really new to the band Blood vein, More characteristic, More Power. the ones that really pulls me out of my chair and banging my head was 'New Pyramids' they got this kinda like rock n roll shredding going on around it, more like a complicated mixtures of Awesomeness, plus Nate Newton vocals more added up to the track, Making it more Anger fueled, bloddy bad ass. 'Bad Vibes' were kinda Punk/Heavy Metal tune you always hear back in the days, Cool, It's like one of those Jogging soundtrack when suddenly you got chased by someone's dog. It's rockish punk heavy metal, Me Likey!. 'Death In Heat' Track starts of with something you familiar with doom bands, Big ass riff, slo mo's and weed. It's death rides southwards, Hot, and blooded, sweaty, and Riffy. Pounding your ear with those Doomriders based sounding tune, you can hear the Bass line like a Pure rage englightment, 'Back Taxes' it reminds me of Coliseum somehow, one of my favorite band too, Pure heavy punk combine with hardcore heavy metal DNA, what can you get? A Hardcore heavypunk soundtrack, back to the jogging again! 'Mankind' was kinda The Ocean like intro, only it's a bit more than just Tech metal, it still have Doomriders main DNA. not much to say actually. 'Dead Friends' was one of Nate song about their deceased fellow friends, He said, "I didn't want it to be sad, I wanted it to be a celebration. I'm not going to sugar coat it. It's sad. But you can't spend your whole life in grief."About the lose theme of Grand Blood, Newton said, "The record focuses on getting older and dealing with death and all the responsibilities I was shirking most of my life. It's about looking in the mirror and taking responsibility."'Gone To Hell'Is maybe one of the most song that features Nate didn't scream, Nate was singing about grief, pain & death. 'We Live In The Shadows' darkness themed this band, So this is my favorite track, one from the many, it straighten up the Term and the Identity of 'Doomriders' itself. 'Father Midnight' It's like one of those Post-Metal song reminders, headbanging Addict will made this into one of their Main playlist. Interesting. Rage really does much of the album, Blood and pain does the trick. 'Grand Blood' was intruigingly magnificent, complex hardcore heavy metal. shreddin bass tune, axe killing with the guitar, and Blood massacre. I'm giving 'Grand Blood' 3.5/5
SSSLOTHHH: Sludge Metal Retaliation With "Phenomenon"
SSSLOTHHH: Sludge Metal Retaliation With "Phenomenon"
"Chopping Down Legs Since the Beginning"
SSSLOTHHH, For short known as an animal "Sloth", In the past I've been interviewing these guys back in the days, Their recent release was an EP titled "Infinite Fracture", Check out the press release here(Infinite Fracture EP). If you wanna see our Previous Interview Encounter check outhere(A Post Metal Atmosphere Ready To Engaged), Now their latest release is now entitled "Phenomenon", kinda think of it. It may sounds really Pop culture Album titled, yeah, me too. But wait until you see the Material these guys put in, Some References from Mouth Of The Architect, Russian Circles, The Ocean, Full of beatdown national anthem, Sludge filled. And hatred Written. Some guys from bandung Doomish outcast DAUD members are working in the making of this album, Bandung Chaos hell maker Frontman from ALICE, And so does VROSK members are include in the Process. Now Let's begin shall we.
Here's a taste from their Album, 'Distance'
The track begins with a full pounding attack from "Above And Below", Blown intro from the beginning, even though somehow I feel the vocals isn't right enough, I just assume that they sums it up in this album, and even if it's feels like your forcing it too much, It's sounds great anyway. The Next track "Oracle" it was one of my most favorite tension grilling between the ground beneath, they've got those Metallic and steel Concrete brick thrown into your face, Reminds you of Pelican though in the early days. Tough as nails, Botch and Poison the Well combination. "Distance" and "Squence" are both dynamic tension, well ridden Intonation, a outburst of carnage and emotion blaring into one another. Pretty well to getting the total clarity and getting the Post-Metal Cross over on Sludge Metal, "Thief of Sleep" and "Squence"Are a perfect match of combination, DAUD & ALICE makes a good taste of stuff indeed, growling, snorting, spits and death of perfection was at sight. I'm giving this album (3.5/5)
Hear ye, hear ye. For you Sabbath fans. I know this album has been released months ago, I've been trying to review this album for so long, and hear goes. "Matiasu" a word which describe Death and living creatures, these Duo Stoner/Doom Metal Aficionados have been in my radar for months, I've been hearing their live peformances and Listening to their tunes, in Matter of fact, REVOIRREVOLVE has done an Interview with band Itself, in Circa 2012 of course, We've been reposting the old Interviews from the old site to the new ones HERE
"DOOM DANCE" That's their title for their EP album, Matiasu consist Duo Stoner/Doom Metal members, Their References goes to Serpentine Path, Moss, Electric Wizard, Sleep and Of course the Holy Legendary Godfather of Heavy Metal Black Sabbath himself. Released via An Sonic Boom Record label Coventry from the Darkness glimpse of an a Could see A.K.A Sonicfuneral Recordings who works with Dark parts of life such as Wicked Suffer, And Asangata. Now let's get Crackin. Here's the Tracklist:
Cult of Serpent
The track starts with After Dark a riveting racket of heavyness burned deep beneath, Anthemic darkness Riff ladenistic Steel up into your knee, After a couple seconds Blast into a fucking furnace of Destruction, I Love the Riff, Prentitious slamming right into your earholes like a fucking machine gun. It's loud, It's Heavy, and it's Locally our Matiasu, The same Goes for Cult Of Serpent a Snake biting riff edging in both ends, still Dangerous though, not to be fucked with, Reminded me of Matt Pike's Guitar lines, Mainly Matiasu trying to Reimage a Dark Self Seeing Music, Deals with darkness, doom and weed I believe, Doom Dance is an Electric Wizardry, It's slow, Pummeling your head, knee and everything in between, reminded me Of Om somehow. Hallucination is a weed travelling flower man, crippling slowing down time itself, this sounds like Sleep to me, Indeed it is! I'm giving this album 3.5/5
Seringai: "Heavy Slaying Riffs and A Boaring Sound of a Madman" With "Taring"(Fangs)
Seringai: Heavy Metal, Alcohol and By God Holy Name, There's a Lot of Riffs.
Earwax, Earwax Everywhere.
I know, Looks like outdated, This album was released in 2012, so Basicly it was two years ago. but what the hell. I've been knowing these guys since I was in Junior High School. "Serigala Militia" the first Album that I've heard when these guys come Along. 2007 If I'm not mistaken, Bringing Heavy Metal to the masses. And yes, They make a huge impact. One of Indonesia finest Heavy Metal brethern. They already have 3 Albums. The first one is 'High Octane Rock', second 'Serigala Militia', third 'Taring'(Fangs), and Were here to talk about the New album 'Taring' which in English means "Fangs". Seringai is known for their combination between Heavy Metal, Alcohol and a fuck lot of Riffs, Their artwork is basicly include Skulls and Fangs reminding you of Pushead back in the days. A Quartet Heavy Metal Brigade from Jakarta. Combining Stoner Rock hardened riffage and Loud as fuck, Motorhead style. Lemmy would be proud. Arian on Vocals, Ricky on Guitar, Sammy on Bass and Khemod on Drums. Now the Album
The track starts of with 'Canis Dirus' a glimmering resonation of an acoustic guitar. Western stuff, John Wayne on the background. and the Strumming began to blending in. Seeing horizons in the west, basicly this Intro is. And when the guitar solo Kicks in. Everything Changed. "Dilarang Di Bandung" was on set, Pedals, Bass, Riffs, and Boom!. Let me visualize the song. It's like riding a Goddamn Chopper and Shooting bad guys left and Right. A Purely breed of Sonic Heavy Metal right in the Nuts. Earwax guys, Play it on High volume to feel the vibe. The third one is a bit more merrier, a combination of Orange Goblin and Kvelertak, but still having those Riff laden flare. Now the next one is favorite one. "Fett, Sang Pemburu" or you can say "Fett, The Hunter" A tale for the Galaxies Most Bad Ass Bounty Hunter. 'Boba Fett', yes, you heard me said it. A Tribute to the Hunter. It's like a Soundtrack for War this album is. Jesus Christ, there's a lot of riffs dude. I mean a lot.
"Tragedi" and "Infiltrasi" are basicly the Prom Queen in this album, Indulging Headbanging to the masses. Caution this album may cause blowing your earhole. The more higher volume you put does make a Difference. "Gaza" a Instrumental track which filled with Beers and Heavy Rock. You can hear the the pounding, and the Grief. Actually in my Opinion believe this song is About the conflict in Gaza, Palestine. It's been going on for a while tho', but I don't know, it's just my opinion actually. In the middle of the song you can hear when the Acoustic guitar comes in, somehow reminding me of Baroness. Oh such sweet joy this album is. There's a correllation between the sweet part and the heavy part.
There are so many reasons, Why I think this one of Indonesia most Influential band. If you haven't get their album be sure to get it. You live regretting your life. Cheers. I'm giving it (4.0/5.0)
V R O S K: "Doom Sludge Drone Sensation After First Bite"
"Furious Doom On, Sludge On Term This Band is"
Hailing from bandung, these guys Condemned theirselves with Drone/Doom/Slugde DNA. Reminded us that there is still a Hell beneath our rugged foot. "World Collapse/Metrum Tan Samar" Demo Feature's 4 Track Of Drone Sludge Bloodgeoning Here's the Track list & The boys who are behind Vrosk:
Metrum Tan Samar
V R O S K
Photos By: Maternal Disaster
FIRMAN OKTAVIAWAN(GUITAR, BASS)
Now let's see how the music is actually, the band really knocked their way out, the 1st track 'World Collapse' Is a full on description how our beloved world collapse, destroyed, and the guys illustrate how it would be, A Drone racketting around earholes really gets to you somehow 9 minutes of lone longing in demolishing your inner spirit within, Vrosk Endure the world destruction and set off to do some more damage. "Metrum Tan Samar" was sludge beating Doom Ignition to world annihilation. it is slow, crippling your feet within, really a beatdown amongst the living, you can't really hear how it turns out actually, I don't know. It sounded so Dark, and damp. 'Mammoath' really describe like a living creature who walks the earth in loneliness, like a dark walking Mammoth who survived the aftermath, it's slow and pounding, remind you somehow of Lee Dorian's 'Cathedral' . They don't really knock the door when to enter, Vrosk break the fucking door and blast your arse with a full on Sludge Doom Shotgun shells, simply Staggering indeed.'Untitled' sounds like an emptiness glows within the dark reign forest, like a creature lurking behind the bushes, trees, trying to hunt down those who survived the post-apocalypse. Hardcore like beat combined with slow doom riffage really. Some musical influences are too being inserted in this dark themed band, some like Post-rock'ish tune sometime you heard in the track, mainly all the track are all instrumental. A Plus for this themed destruction Producers. I'm giving 3.5/5
Jesu Amazing Comeback With "Everyday I Get Closer To The Light From Which I Came"
'Jesu Comeback With Soulgazing Post-Rock'ish Sounds'
Jesu Beautifully Comeback
Tracklist: 1. Homesick
4. The Great Leveller
5. Grey Is The Colour
The album will be released on 23 September 2013 Via Avalanche Recordings, Magnificent comeback, Godflesh main man Justin K. Broadrick completely making this album into my personal favorite lovable Everyday music Album, somehow it's reminded me of Anathema, don't know why. But after Jesu"Ascension" where in that album the full Post-Metal term was affliated so much, I got so tired. Then after I heard Jesu new Album "Every Day I Get Closer To The Light From Which I Came In" I was staggered. I love it, so much, It completely wins over me after I heard the Album. Completely I thought it was just another hard pounding music to the ear. But no, Jesu resides that, and tries to create more than just a simple music.
The new album feature's Dub, Electronic, and Post Punk in it, which is making it more colourful, Just listen to one of it's samples "Homesick" It was like always i said, mostly Excellent. It brings you joyous feeling in some kind of midst of weather, lies beneath a thick rugged guitar was tuned along. While in the 2nd "Comforter" track feature's Electronic kinda like Sigur Ros'ish which making me loving this album much more. It is so calm, and then turns into kinda like Battle themed war stories.Shining armor and Heroes risen from the ashes. This track really does have a mean, to comfort, and yes! it does comfort me along hearing this track. Well I found out in Fact Mag he album’s fourth track, the 17-minute ‘The Great Leveller’, is the only one to feature a player besides Broadrick – Nicola Manzan commands a one-person orchestra of strings. According to the album’s press release, “the song lyrically deals with the existential drain that is early parenthood, since Justin became a father for the first time just before beginning work on this LP” But I Still love it, I Adore that themed song. It welcomes me so much in my head. I Love it those atmospheric kinda like sad song. I was kinda soft person for this kinda song. and suddenly just fell in love with it. Overall through all the track I was more in love in this album than my love for my passion in sleeping. I'm giving this album a 4.5/5 , 'Grey is The Colour' Was a magnificent 4-Minute track, It's my favorite though besides the first track of the album.
