Tempting, Intruiging In Various ways.

Hailing from Bandung, These four men composed seems to be a Blend in of mixture of Harsh sides of Shoegaze, Post-Rock, Post-Punk, and Rock. And Entitled this "Gianni Porto" a Character that wrapped Eleven Tracks full of Benchmarking of some Post-Rock & Shoegaze submission, Kicking, References from Explosions In The Sky, God Is An Astronaut, and many more.

a

Now to the tracks, Here we go. "Black Stolen Boxes" is an Instrumental beating Pounding machine, Destructive and yet Elegant, Many sides of becoming A Post-Metal thing but it isn't. "Traffic Thriller" Was excellent, noises of compelling Intonation, "The Lethal Impression" is Mostly alike to be my favorite track from the album apart from Black Stolen Boxes, they've got those vibe that Making it a bit more "Powerfull" both endings and Intro. If you ask me naturally hell yes this is a good album, Impressive I Might say, Hearing this from Indonesia, "You Look Awkward" Seems a bit Post-Metal'ish Isis References, no matter. It sounds brilliant anyway, not that I'm sure of, This album Is a great way to spend in a New years Eve, same Like goes "Arcade". "Glare of Glowing City" and "M..A.D" are their first release and containing two of this tracks, No matter, sounds bad ass in an Elegant way. A Short thing to say, this album is fully equipped with your favorite Post-Rock Artist Genes, One of the best Releases in 2013, All I Can say I'm Giving This Album (4.5/5)

Red Fang: "An Nightmare Opera, Specializes In Halloween With Whales & Leeches"

"WHALES & LEECHES" by Red Fang

It's Fangbulous!

It's been a while since their latest  "Murder The Mountains" Red Fang, In my opinion, Was the Most Heavy Rifftastic, Beer-Laden, And Booze Entertaining in both Ends, Coming out from the Heart of Relapse Recordings, The Record it's a frantic Panic Songwriting. But either way, Here's what the dude at Red Fang says on Spin Magazine

Tracklist:

1. DOEN
2. Blood Like Cream
3. No Hope
4. Crows In Swine
5. Voices Of The Dead
6. Behind The Light
7. Dawn Rising
8. Failure
9. 1516
10. This Animal
11. Every Little Twist

The result of this frenzy is a record that's heavier than their usual brutal boogie: hyper-charged bulldozer riffs, lyrics about a doomed winter and death tolls, and bellowed vocals that recall burly forefathers like Mastodon and Baroness

Aaron Beam(Red Fang) On Spin Magazine.

I in the other Hand, of course Find this thing is Newly To my Ears, And Excitement was in the Air My Friend! For Whales & Leeches, the band worked producer Chris Funk (Decemberists) and mixer Vance Powell (White Stripes, Raconteurs, Kings of Leon). This same team worked on Red Fang’s last album Murder the Mountains. In this Album Red Fang get it Crackin' With the help of guests Mike Scheidt (Yob) and Pall Jenkins (The Black Heart Procession). Okay!, Now let's get Cracking with the Album , The Track start's Off with "DOEN" which stands of Dead Of Endless Nights, Pretty heavy shit track to start off with, reminded me of Matt Pike's Finest Heavy rock Crew "High On Fire" but of course still with Red Fang Flavoured Dna. "Blood Like Cream" it's kinda creepy rock n roll For those Halloween enthusiats out there, This is my favorite track actually, you can hear the track
.

"No Hope" Were kinda one of those days when you just wanna quit from everyday schedule, It's mainly about Losing Hope, and you were kinda like this street driver crashing to every shit in your life. Pretty Chaotic and Awesome Of Course dude, I Mean c'mon? The guys still have their Flavoured touch to the Music. It's New, And I'm Liking it! "Crows In Swine" Dooming it on with somekinda Ghost-ish Intro from the front, it's like A Food thing actually, like a Pig that could look like a Crow, These guys still playing with food names I Guess. "Voices Of The Dead" & "Behind The Light" like a Combination Life after death, The Dead shout out their voices, behind the light. Like meaning they didn't go to heaven actually, Poor bastard, but Nevertheless It's Cool, Like a Beatdown Stoner Badminton on your Head. Really knocks you off your socks. "Dawn Rising" kinda long Doom, Stoner Anthemic to World Revolution, Slow, Pounding, and Kick ass, kinda get a feel walking down the street feels like a guy with a lot History of Bad ass Reputation. Next Track "Failure" like a Slow moisture horror film. Pretty neat actually, Reminding me somehow of Mastodon. "1516" Now this is very Mastodon Influenced indeed, reminded me of Brent and Bill Guitar lines on Blood And Thunder. Fucking Cool! Grill, Chilling down your Spine down Under, and So does beneath. "This Animal" Reminding me of The Raw Side of Coliseum combining with Red Fang Dna and A bit of Queen Of The Stone Age I think. The last Track "Every Little Twist" like a rock hymn to problems in life I think. Pall Jenkins from Black Heart Procession and Three Mile Pilot also sings on this song. Mainly I Think Red Fang -  Whales And Leeches is a Bad Ass tune to start your Halloween day, Creepy, Cool, New, And Awesome. I'm Giving 4/5

Mastodon: Sit Back, Relax, We're going to the Sun, Again.

Mastodon: A Blast of With "Once More 'Round The Sun"

Marvelous, Just Marvelous.

Mastodon, a creature, beast. Bigger than the Mammoth in the Ice Age. It's been a while since we're expecting more than these guys, but let me tell you, this album will surely knocks you off your seats. The Artwork is done by Skinner, I've seen his other works, and I gotta hand it to the guy, It looks hellish as hell. and I liked it. Produce my the one and Only Nick Raskulinecz. In this new album the boys will redeem themselves. After "The Hunter" the boys seems to be trying to make a comeback, and oh boy, what a comeback. I don't mean I hate "The Hunter" tho', there are some tracks that I really liked from that Album, and by far as I see it, Some of "The Hunter" elements are presence in this new album. Sure, yeah each Mastodon albums exists in a different place and Elements, but the main thing is, The guys capable of bringing back a bigger and more powerful works after that. There's a lot of rock going on in this album, so buckle up those seatbelts, it'gonna be a bumpy ride.

The album starts off with "Tread Lightly" a resonance strumming with an acoustic guitar, one of my favorite track also. Troy bass lines in this track is absolutely knocks down hard, A Steel knock off first base this track is. "Open your eyes, Take a Deep breath and return to Life" a glimpse of the lyrics. It seems a Resurrection was at hand, simply trying put off how they manage to make it all whole again. Brent starts shredding everything suddenly pops. "The Motherload" is a edgy confident beat, Brann vocals emerges from the depths, sweet and monstrously perfect, 'This time, This time,  things work out just fine' and my oh my, It surpass the word fine. Entering another dimension, a portal to another time and place, and got trapped in it. Progressive Rock elements were present, and being fused by the existing Psychedelic atmosphere. "High Road" it's one of their single, A Blunt battering ram, full of Sludge Hardened steel Riffs that capable taking down the all of the Madison Square. "Remission" particle was veery dominant in this track, It's a severe hit, a Rigorous triumphant. "Chimes of Midnight" a compelling lucid dreaming psychedelia trip into the solar system, Percussions everywhere, full of riffs that swarms right and tight, "All my heroes, they're all dead" one of Troy lines that I've heard in this track gives me the chills. A formidable stiff Melody. "Asleep In The Deep" yeah, I know, I get the chills too, It kinda reminds us of some Kvelertak'ish notes, Valient Himself and a Keyboardist Isaiah Owens who mainly known for his works with The Mars Volta, Jack White, etc. Take parts in this track. "Feast Your Eyes" a blummering beatdown of riffs and throat roarinng. Might and Melody walking in the same line holding hands mugging people in the streets basicly this track about. Jumping off cliffs and burning down bridges. "Aunt Lisa", the gangs from the The Coathangers and Gary Lindsey participate in this track. This song is like a Psychedelic Nightmare interpretation. Creepy.

"Ember City" this is my favorite track mostly from this album, filled with many Percussions that Leave you jaw dropping, Guitar shredding that makes you going too different Places, and Heavy choruses that looks like hitler is Preaching on stage. It's a snazzy prog rock attack, Sweet and hard at the same time.  Lurking down beneath your spine. You don't like metal? but you'll just love Mastodon. "Halloween", Fast weilding blade runner on the loose trying to beat all the kids in halloween, It's kinda a crime chase session we got here. Striking you on your knee, a Wallop full of Punches, Beatdowns, Riffs that Stronger than Meth, It's Bizzare freakish beat I tell you that. "Diamond In The Witch House" a Sinister song that filled with hatred surge and blasting sonic guitar shredding, 'Neurosis' very own Scott Kelly took part in this track, a Spine-chilling blow and thrust into our ears and hearts. Once again they outdone themselves, couldn't be more happier. They took their listeners into another Dimension, into another Solar System, and There are Creepy stuffs crawling and lurking in space, they aren't afraid to show it.

In this album, they filled it with a brim of a new aspects, It's a menacing destructive desolate anthems from these Atlanta Giants, Mercurial Prog rock, they branches off into a new Element. They've outdone themselves. Am Uplifting lean hard rock beatdown. I'm giving it (4.5/5.0)

PELICAN: "FOREVER BECOMING"

PELICAN: "Forever Becoming"

"Post - Instrumental Boys Are Pounding Their Way Out"

Oh yes, After succesfully With their "Ataraxia/Taraxis EP" The boys are back, Producing some more musical Influences to their New Album "Forever Becoming". Some metalcore you might hear on the song, some low, slow, beat are in the gene of these Post-Metal Instrumental Band Hailing from Illinois. After recently announced an amicable split with guitarist and founding member Laurent Schroeder-Lebec. Schroeder-Lebec had not been touring with the band for the prior two years, with Dallas Thomas of The Swan King performing live in his stead, but not participating in the writing process. The album will be released on October 15, 2013 through Mr. Greg Anderson "Southern Lord Records". Forever Becoming was produced by Chris Common, formerly of "These Arms Are Snakes", who also previously produced Pelican's 2009 studio album, What We All Come To Need
Pelican Outfit in this Album is more Balanced, Between the soft parts and the hard parts, somehow this is not like How the old Pelican used to be, their exploring new territories in the music, In the Track "Deny The Absolute" It's not like how the old pelican used to be, Somehow they balanced their way out. Surely if you compare it to Other Tracks in other Pelican album you'll know the difference, They're just not slow, instrumental beat, Like many other bands, The guys really made this into An Intelligent Music. Somehow I'm really quite fond with this new Album, they really make it look promising. I mean 8-tracks of Completely Awesome Instrumental Music Pounding in your ear you could resonate the music itself. Like Pelican becoming more Complex, And More Metal than ever, Listen to "Immutable Dusk" There's a part when the music really gets goosebumps on your skin, It's just really great to be hearing this band again. My most favorite is "Threnody" you really gets the sense of feeling being haunted by somekind of dark-past memories and then Came out the Pelican sign in tone.

They just don't go for pure power on guitar and drums, they feel the heartbeat of the music too, the way how it's used to be, They absorbs the atmosphere within the music itself, like somehow their soul was attached to the Pelican itself which is, very very Staggering indeed. Completely blown my mind off Forever Becoming, What an Amazing album Indeed. 4.3/5

BLACK//HAWK: SELF TITLED EP(2015)

Southern Young Blood Retaliation

Outwitted and outnumbered

From the minds of a pale law abiding citizen, Black//Hawk puts their aim a little higher. These five southern quartet recently premiered their single teaser for this upcoming S/T EP titled "Schizophrenia". Released by Blacksheep Recordings and Rimauman Music. We think that this album is a bit Muddy, Noise, Feedback, Raw, and Sludge-blatantly face to face dirt en-visioned with a little d-beat/crust punk essence and that abrasive Mike IX Williams vibe vocals, Non-theless being Executive Produced by Farid Amriansyah who put some of his vocals layout in the album, mastered and mixed by Jimmy(AD Studio) and a cover album art by GOORM.

Six gritty back to back tracks, as we said before, it was gritty, raw, and full dirt loathe. Songs like "Doppelgangers" is an apparition of ourselves, there are not a lot of rooms to make variations, but thats okay, I consider this is more like a an aggresive sludge-waste beatdown, Ethical and Thrashers in with manner of contempt not to be interfere with. "Schizophrenia" is the prom Queen on all of this pale and despair themed album, Charging with a buzzsaw of punk rock fury, they bleed their artery and carry on with it. The bass lines in this album represents some nasty shit of mean, it's Intimidating in a weird way after being fused in with the feedback.

"Nervous Breakdown"
No, it's not that Black Flag song. Rhythmic aggresiveness continues flowing ferociously like pack of rabid dogs. It's a predictable tune if you can compete. "III(Beige Menjadi Hitam)" starts launching in with frustrating of scream and lunging in to this sludge ritted in. "Rinela" is all about that bass, deep, distorted, mean and intimidating. Plus those amplified beatdown feedback note descending on the throne. Sure, there is a moment when the brutality stands down a let the moment of soundscaping begin, they restrained their inner beast "Final Ending" is a bit post-ish ambient creepy atmosphere clouding in around you, Misanthropic and pre-emptive.

We're Giving this 3.0/5

((AUMAN)) - ROARING FROM THE SOUTH WITH (((SUAR MARABAHAYA)))

((AUMAN)) Suar Marabahaya:

“Southern Tiger Uprising”

For centuries, mankind have been doing quite a remarkable destruction to our beloved planet earth. For years they have been hunting down protected animals and who are believed, are now dangerously near extinction. “Pantera Tigris Sumatrae” A well proctected animal in the South Sumateran Forest, who is believed almost extinct. Is being hunted down and kill in their own Throne. Well ((AUMAN)) is not going to be happy with that.

Formed In the land of Kings, South Sumatera. These bad boys worship and protect the kings of the sumateran forest, And Made that whole thing into a music album. Titled and Named “SUAR MARABAHAYA” Going out Dangerously By Demajors Records. The Personnel itself are Farid Amriansyah who is known to be the frontman for Dagger Stab, Ahmad Ruliansyah Are from hardcore metal band known as Delirium, Grindpunk pioneers in Sumatera Rongsokan, Abin Sulaiman as Bassist, And Then The Guitarist And Drummer, Erwin Wijaya and Aulia Effendy are from a Indie/Rock/Post Band named Grey. Artwork was made by the Erwin Wijaya And Aulia Effendy, who has deal with a lot of bands Such as The I.C.U, The Pure Acoustic, Grey, Dagger Stab, etc

Here’s The Track List :

I. Intronitroduction : Year Of The Tiger
II. Unholy Terror
III. W.K.G.G(Wong Kito Gilo Galo)
IV. Viva Rimau! Rimau!
V. City Of Ghosts
VI. Suar Marabahaya
VII. Subsonic Teenage Dream Machine
VIII. Brokenhard Rock
IX. (We Are) The Sons Of The Sun
X. Sangkakala Apokalips
XI. Macho(Vetty Vera Cover)

In this album the boys combine hardcore with rock and a stoner atmosphere style. very nicely fucking catchy, good tempo, it’s like going crescendo to like this album. The first track Intronitroduction: Year Of The Tiger Heavy rock swing very headbanging indeed. keeps you energized within your car seat. Like strapping your white ass with a seatbelt. While the second track & the 3rd track, Unholy Terror & W.K.G.G They explain the awesomeness to fast kick ass hard rock to your ear and telling you not to low the damn volume even when your Dad is around. I Find this song really knocks you down of the moshpit, made you loose yourself entirely, But, on the other hand the guys explain how dangerously life is in South Sumatera, living the peaceful life only if you had a knife in your hand, It’s like Brooklyn And Bronx, Only Hotter and the sons of bitches who live here are all have that one slang that could get a man killed about something stupid. Viva Rimau! Rimau! Is the song where these rocknrollers explain that they worship, protect, and made an Ode to the South Sumateran Forest King, The South Sumateran Tiger. Fast Kick Ass Rock And Roll Tempo. Sharing the stories that they are the “Guardian” Of the king itself, And Not To Be Fuck With. It’s like trying to kick Bruce Willis out from Die Hard. City Of Ghosts come with slow, rock riff, if everyone ever said Western Swing, I Called This Tropical Swing, Very super effective if combine with a weed. Now This is my favorite track of all, Suar Marabahaya, Subsonic Teenage Dream Machine, And Brokenhard Rock. These three songs really can’t keep me off my seat, all of the sudden you would’be already hanging in a fucking coconut tree dangling your ass like a fucking tarzan. The Rock, The Hardcore, The Stoner Atmospheric Combined perfectly, Alas the results were really unfuckable! .The Vocals are too Impossible to be fuck with. The Amplifier really knocks down a fucking tree. the lead vocals are really in too it. good soundtrack for a bank heist, a gun fight, or bare hand fight, either way it’s awesome, not to be missed with. While (We Are) The Sons Of The Sun Deals With Hard Rock, Stoner Riffage. Take It Slow And Then Make your earholes Blow. having a sun bathe in a dessert. although we are not really in it were are just implying it. Now The Track That really deals with judgement day and heavy raw power, the pure hard rock fury power, Sangkakala Apokalips is the thing you need. Sudden Eargasm it a caution to those who seek trouble. The Vocals in this track really goes out, darkness clutches the world, people is like seeking refuge to live. yeah much more like apocalyptic disaster. More the less recommended for Doomsday Soundtrack. The Last Track Macho , Where ((AUMAN)) Covers Vetty Vera Song, This song goes for bad ass villain, who can’t be fucked with only raw power, you need strength and agility to do this kinda thing. The song suits for bad ass troublemaker in the neighborhood.

That’s all that I could say about this debut album Simply kicks the dick right in the prick. Remember The ((A)) Is Silent,  but the Fangs won’t be. keep that in your mind my friend
