SSSLOTHHH: Sludge Metal Retaliation With "Phenomenon"
SSSLOTHHH: Sludge Metal Retaliation With "Phenomenon"
"Chopping Down Legs Since the Beginning"
SSSLOTHHH, For short known as an animal "Sloth", In the past I've been interviewing these guys back in the days, Their recent release was an EP titled "Infinite Fracture", Check out the press release here(Infinite Fracture EP). If you wanna see our Previous Interview Encounter check out here(A Post Metal Atmosphere Ready To Engaged), Now their latest release is now entitled "Phenomenon", kinda think of it. It may sounds really Pop culture Album titled, yeah, me too. But wait until you see the Material these guys put in, Some References from Mouth Of The Architect, Russian Circles, The Ocean, Full of beatdown national anthem, Sludge filled. And hatred Written. Some guys from bandung Doomish outcast DAUD members are working in the making of this album, Bandung Chaos hell maker Frontman from ALICE, And so does VROSK members are include in the Process. Now Let's begin shall we.
Here's a taste from their Album, 'Distance'
The track begins with a full pounding attack from "Above And Below", Blown intro from the beginning, even though somehow I feel the vocals isn't right enough, I just assume that they sums it up in this album, and even if it's feels like your forcing it too much, It's sounds great anyway. The Next track "Oracle" it was one of my most favorite tension grilling between the ground beneath, they've got those Metallic and steel Concrete brick thrown into your face, Reminds you of Pelican though in the early days. Tough as nails, Botch and Poison the Well combination. "Distance" and "Squence" are both dynamic tension, well ridden Intonation, a outburst of carnage and emotion blaring into one another. Pretty well to getting the total clarity and getting the Post-Metal Cross over on Sludge Metal, "Thief of Sleep" and "Squence"Are a perfect match of combination, DAUD & ALICE makes a good taste of stuff indeed, growling, snorting, spits and death of perfection was at sight. I'm giving this album (3.5/5)
VROSK: "WORLD COLLAPSE/METRUMTANSAMAR" DEMO

FIRMAN OKTAVIAWAN(GUITAR, BASS)
Now let's see how the music is actually, the band really knocked their way out, the 1st track 'World Collapse'
Is a full on description how our beloved world collapse, destroyed, and the guys illustrate how it would be, A Drone racketting around earholes really gets to you somehow 9 minutes of lone longing in demolishing your inner spirit within, Vrosk
Endure the world destruction and set off to do some more damage. "Metrum Tan Samar"
was sludge beating Doom Ignition to world annihilation. it is slow, crippling your feet within, really a beatdown amongst the living, you can't really hear how it turns out actually, I don't know. It sounded so Dark, and damp. 'Mammoath'
really describe like a living creature who walks the earth in loneliness, like a dark walking Mammoth who survived the aftermath, it's slow and pounding, remind you somehow of Lee Dorian's 'Cathedral'
. They don't really knock the door when to enter, Vrosk break the fucking door and blast your arse with a full on Sludge Doom Shotgun shells, simply Staggering indeed. 'Untitled'
sounds like an emptiness glows within the dark reign forest, like a creature lurking behind the bushes, trees, trying to hunt down those who survived the post-apocalypse. Hardcore like beat combined with slow doom riffage really. Some musical influences are too being inserted in this dark themed band, some like Post-rock'ish tune sometime you heard in the track, mainly all the track are all instrumental. A Plus for this themed destruction Producers. I'm giving 3.5/5

. Design and Layout is done by the member of the band Bob Edrian T.
Mastered by Adhit Android
and recorded in MM Studio Bandun
g. A blood son of Earthless, Karma To Burn
, they deeply channeling Stoner/Blues/Psychedelic portio
n, hazy, mysterious and makes you self wonder. Who the fuck is this so called "The Riverman". Recently on the road with Matiasu, Vrosk, Heast
, and all the bad bad company "Sages of Haze Tour"
The EP only consists 2 Tracks but don't you worry, it's almost a 30 minute Psychedelia blues of jollification. It starts off with "The Riverman(Prologue)"
a long winded guitar bending that could go on for minutes, subtle but then again that naughty rock side doesn't seem to let the psychedelic takes the spotlight, Constant and soaring. The length of the song may test the listeners patience but what the heck, who gives a damn anyway?
" This quite fittingly my favorite track of all, They stretching the length of blues into the infinity. Deeply finding this song is very, and frankly very interesting. Intense drumming and thrashing around while the guitar takes the throne.
"Myth & Deceit" straight from their Soundcloud
We find this album is very Sexy.
Jesu Amazing Comeback With "Everyday I Get Closer To The Light From Which I Came"
'Jesu Comeback With Soulgazing Post-Rock'ish Sounds'
Jesu Beautifully Comeback
4. The Great Leveller
5. Grey Is The Colour
The album will be released on 23 September 2013 Via Avalanche Recordings, Magnificent comeback, Godflesh main man Justin K. Broadrick completely making this album into my personal favorite lovable Everyday music Album, somehow it's reminded me of Anathema
, don't know why. But after Jesu "Ascension"
where in that album the full Post-Metal
term was affliated so much, I got so tired. Then after I heard Jesu
new Album "Every Day I Get Closer To The Light From Which I Came In"
I was staggered. I love it, so much, It completely wins over me after I heard the Album. Completely I thought it was just another hard pounding music to the ear. But no, Jesu resides that, and tries to create more than just a simple music.
The new album feature's Dub, Electronic, and Post Punk in it, which is making it more colourful, Just listen to one of it's samples "Homesick"
It was like always i said, mostly Excellent. It brings you joyous feeling in some kind of midst of weather, lies beneath a thick rugged guitar was tuned along. While in the 2nd "Comforter"
track feature's Electronic kinda like Sigur Ros'ish which making me loving this album much more. It is so calm, and then turns into kinda like Battle themed war stories.Shining armor and Heroes risen from the ashes. This track really does have a mean, to comfort, and yes! it does comfort me along hearing this track. Well I found out in Fact Mag
he album’s fourth track, the 17-minute ‘The Great Leveller’, is the only one to feature a player besides Broadrick – Nicola Manzan commands a one-person orchestra of strings. According to the album’s press release, “the song lyrically deals with the existential drain that is early parenthood, since Justin became a father for the first time just before beginning work on this LP” But I Still love it, I Adore that themed song. It welcomes me so much in my head. I Love it those atmospheric kinda like sad song. I was kinda soft person for this kinda song. and suddenly just fell in love with it. Overall through all the track I was more in love in this album than my love for my passion in sleeping. I'm giving this album a 4.5/5
, 'Grey is The Colour'
Was a magnificent 4-Minute track, It's my favorite though besides the first track of the album.

". One of my favorite Japanese Heavy Rockers other Than Boris of Course. These guys are really mean bad asses. frickin awesome Right! This is from their "Thy Kingdom Scum"
The next one is Bevar Sea, Bangalore based Stoner/Doom Band Bevar Sea from India, I know right? I love the name though Kinda Doomy, Pirate Asian Pirate Ship that sail in asia Got wreck by a Big Wave. In this track their slow Oceanic, Asian Figure really Pound into your eardrums, Remind of Thorun, a Band From Wales. Bad Ass, Frickin' Pounding in your Balls! It's "The Smiler" taken from their rehearsal "Sessions Of Chaos"
The next one Is hailing from the Land of the Sun To actually, A Yellow Danger Fellow, this are Heavy Fucked Up Mammoths who you know will be releasing a Split with Oakland Finest Sludge Metal Brigade "Noothgrush", Yes it's Coffins! "The Colossal Hole" It's loud, Slow, Doomy Death Metal Kinda a Like. nonetheless it's the most recommended hearing of the Month. Don't go to Crazy with it tho'.

Okay "Chalice Of Doom" is a Melodic Doom/Death Metal, Hailing from Zarqa, Jordan."Shame, Written In Blood" It's kinda Creepy shit. which is a Plus for the Band Of course, They have those Black Metallers Atmosphere, and Combining with a sense of Threat and Destruction. Made my day, It's soo coool, Reminding me of my Old Times tho, A Little bit of Goth was smelled. but I don't Care. I Cool!! Shame, Written In Blood (Featuring Roger "Rogga" Johansson It's from Their Latest Hypnagogia
A STORM OF LIGHT - NATIONS TO FLAMES
A STORM OF LIGHT : "Nations To Flames
"A Flame Grilling Metal Indeed"
Yes, yes, I'm so happy. Okay, As you know Josh Graham(Neurosis Visual Collaborator) fronted Doom/Post-Metal/Heavy Metal is back. Pouring some sweat blooded fire reign upon you're ghastly looking ears. And I mean they're really kicking asses right now, these guys really put their back into it. In this album the Guys really prepared for a full scaled Heavy Grim Like Metal, it's like getting your head bashed into a Concrete steel. Anyway let's crack on to the album shall we.
"Nations To Flames"
Was released via Southern Lord Recordings, Whom we know owned by the notorius Goatsnake Guitarist Mr. Greg Anderson, Nations To Flames was recorded with Travis Kammeyer (OCOAI, Generation Of Vipers) at Fahrenheit Studios in Johnson City, Tennessee, mixed with Matt Bayles (Isis, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Botch, Mastodon) at Red Room Recording in Seattle, Washington and mastered by Brad Boatright (Sleep, From Ashes Rise, Nails) at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon
. What a line up of people who are working with ASOL in this album, 11-track opus includes Soundgraden’s Kim Thayil and Indian/Nachtmystium’s Will Lindsay on select tracks. My god What can you get more from this album. Okay let's see
The track starts off with "Fall" Heavy Metal Opera was really took it's toll, one of the most favorite track for my prespective, Rage, power, And Riffage Does Prevail. Same goes for the guitar crippling on "Apostles of Hatred" Heavy fueled Metal, It's like you can still hear the how they put things in orderly, Like the boys really made it. They made my ear Came! They really throw out the "Post" Term out of the way, Graham really did it. I Mean following the success of their past album "As The Valley Of Death Become Us, Our Silver Memories Fade"
Nonetheless, I Cannot say, the album was really worth it. Mr. Graham Lyrics dig down upon the song Theme itself, I Mean really like Hatred was Turning into a Musical Masterpiece, Follow Up with "The Fire Sermon" It's like black metal'ish tune, then go slowly trying to cut your legs off. I mean, Come on? this is the best album I've heard since Neurosis "Honor Found In Decay" . Overall the band really features new stuff, Like really going in to the hard part instead being post-metal'ish. And I must say. This Is The True Identity of "A Storm Of Light" They are rage fueled, Hatred maker, From "Omen", "Disintegrate" , "Lifeless" This is what this band is all about. I'm giving 4.5/5
