Cancer, and Sickness. The Emperor's Greatest Curse.
Time Kills us All.
Mastodon returns again! with newly announced album. Straightly grasp the essence of time and death. A couple of days ago, Mastodon release their new studio documentary about their newly made album "Emperor of Time" combining themes from their past albums like Crack The Skye, Remission, Once More Around The Sun and The Hunter soon to be release in March 31st via Reprise Records. In this album these Savannah progressive rock unit sounds different and more personal, since sickness, illness, life and death takes everything away this band stayed true to what they believed. They already released a new single titled "Sultan's Curse" straight off the bat this sounds like Crack The Skye all over again and I can tell you straight forward it sounded amazing. Pulsating and vibrating riffs, Troy's vocals sounds in a lot of pain. Everyone is now on the hype train! are you?!
You dig hard, and you might find more than you've ever wanted. Trio underdogs has risen from the ashes of the sun. Emulating by the raw and bare musical structures. Light and flexible, and the duration doesn't matter. Shift pitch and hardcore styles was very much of an impact to this band. Formed by Ex-members of ((AUMAN)), HOAX, And Cloud. Stretching styles to Breach, OFF!, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Retox. "Urinoir Wisdom" was Recorded during rehearsal session at Blacksheep Studio on May 2015 with portable recording gadget set to be as noisy as possible. Without risking losing Lo-fi Clarity and raw power. Music written by Perfect Jay, Bullet & Kenji Error This trio craze headed hardhitting devil shifters just blew our headphones off our ears. Raw guzzyfone rippling through your earbuds like your on meth. Without further redo here's 'DETENTION'
Avhath - "Eulogy" EP Exclusive Premiere + Upcoming Tour Dates
Filth from the Night
Fright and Extremity
Sounds from the night, Avhath retains their throne of the dark with this upcoming "Eulogy EP". This is a follow up from their past release EP "Une Generation Perdue" 2 years ago on cassette format. They have just released a single recently in 2014, Christmas themed song "Frightened Teeth". Joyful and Merry. But now, We're not to talk about that. "Eulogy EP" will be released in 7" Format on 18 April Record Store Day 2015 in Indonesia. Features 2 New tracks and 1 Bonus track from their very first single "Catch 22". They also will be kicking off their Java tour with Disfare, yes promoting their upcoming split album together on the road. Tour Dates are down below.
AVHATH - EULOGY 7" PREVIEW
"Eulogy EP" was devastating sonic boom with an epic proportion, Avhath has surely sharpened their blade and pike, they step their game up another level, go deeper and deeper. They point themselves into a higher aim, delirous and amped with power. They didn't let it out to waste. Songs like "Eulogy I" was a facebreaker they never retain that crust punk provokeness. Even though it seems they may a bit shift their way out to another type of control. "Eulogy II" is a pounding downfall. You know something about Black Metal, it's not always about complete destruction. Sometimes it's a deep growth potential of things, rather than just blasting around and destroying anything. There's an Energy in it.

KAITZR - MYTH AND DECEIT EP(ORANGE CLIFF RECORDS 2015)
Exhilirating Dash of Trance
Tapping at number 2 in our recent music article, Kaitzr has spread their wings and devoution. Recently bought their EP album in Cassette tape format released by Orange Cliff Recordings. Design and Layout is done by the member of the band Bob Edrian T. Mastered by Adhit Android and recorded in MM Studio Bandung. A blood son of Earthless, Karma To Burn, they deeply channeling Stoner/Blues/Psychedelic portion, hazy, mysterious and makes you self wonder. Who the fuck is this so called "The Riverman". Recently on the road with Matiasu, Vrosk, Heast, and all the bad bad company "Sages of Haze Tour"
The EP only consists 2 Tracks but don't you worry, it's almost a 30 minute Psychedelia blues of jollification. It starts off with "The Riverman(Prologue)" a long winded guitar bending that could go on for minutes, subtle but then again that naughty rock side doesn't seem to let the psychedelic takes the spotlight, Constant and soaring. The length of the song may test the listeners patience but what the heck, who gives a damn anyway?
"The Damned(Epilogue)" This quite fittingly my favorite track of all, They stretching the length of blues into the infinity. Deeply finding this song is very, and frankly very interesting. Intense drumming and thrashing around while the guitar takes the throne.
Here's "Myth & Deceit" straight from their Soundcloud page.
Poison Nova - Circle of Woe EP(Lawless Records 2015)
Know God, No Fear, No God, Know Fear
Slamming Adrenaline Pulse
Bleak, void, and hollow. An interpretation of what you've expect from these Melodic/Heavy/Black Metal enthusiast. I've seen them 2 years ago, In 2013, a split album with Bvrtan. 12 Tracks both bands are a promising sample of a magnificent resemblance of Black Metal music. But now, none of that matters. Sure, some tracks in the EP was in the split album but who cares. Misanthropic and devastating charging violently with devoution to bands such as Watain, Immortal, God Dethroned, Mayhem, and Burzum, we could go on for a long stretch of line... Poison Nova alters their combination into a combustion of heavy charging black metal fury. Released by Lawless Records this year 2015, approximately a couple months ago, cover artwork done by Devilreject who've done works bands such as Devildriver, Chimaira, Skeletonwitch, etc. The context of the booklet filled with photographs of skulls by Dinda Advena. Design by Arian A. and layout by Herry S, and.. mostly some page is just darkness mingling around.
Starts off the title track "Circle Of Woe" a cycle of grief, despair and death. You can tell much information about an album just looking from the title and the cover art. Monolithic cries of frenzy and that blast beat drum patterns, is a reminiscent of a classic death and rattle theme, this song is really not the one you should be playing in Easter. "Wounds of Gaza" a tale of how earth is fed up eating blood and flesh created by the living things that lived in there, Exhilirating lurid sounds, shifting chords and all out cries of apathy. It's supposed to a sad song then again I forgot that this a black metal album. It is a sad theme album but how they said it changes the whole thing immediately.
"The Curse of An Everlasting Search" an instrumental ambient noise with guitars, love those mist thin layered vocals hovering mid-air in the song, couldn't really hear it. "Anthem From Black Heart" Traditional black metal blast beat was interesting, but adding the deathmetal pedal beats was amazing. Pulzerising shifting notes and keys neatly put and add on. Not too much or too little. "Silent Wolves Howling Moon" this one is on youtube in 2013. Creeping death and shivers down your spine when you heard this lyrics "The sun will perish with eternal cold damnation" all of the sudden a post apocalyptic place were live in right now. "Pagan Blood" Features in our recent music article "10 Bands you Should Hear Before Hitting Puberty" tapping at number 6.
Please don't really turn all things go black, It's pretty damn hard to read the lyrics.. with all things aside here's an official video from the track "Silent Wolves Howling Moon"
Another marvelous combination in the world of music, Warning, this is not that Melodic Hard Rock Band Somnium band from the New England, this is a different type. Somnium is a psychedelic fused low tuned sabbath stooges doors combustion, with a trio line up of devastating proportion from Bandung, West Java. Peformed in 7 tracks debut album, and released by the infamous Bandung Based sub-genre label Orange Cliff Records. This album is mastered by Jack Control in Austin Texas(Enourmous Door Studio). Cryptid, raw, and lo-fi deliquents, they're bringing back reference from psychedelic of The Doors, raw ness of groove by The Stooges, and the amplifying rock anthem of Black Sabbath. But, there is more than what meets the eye. They combined some fuzz desert stoner punk rock/garage/blues hormones and inject them into their very own dna. Holy shit, that's a lot to take in..
"Black Campaign" this terms is usually being used in politics and elections. Despicable and maniacal, this defines Somnium to what they are. Their haze of vocals beatdown rocknroll blues garage crescendo tuning into your ears, that my friend is "Putrefaction" a sexy anthem swinging around the corner and drinking that jack, smoke some of that blunt weed while walking under the so called City Lights. In the end there is this sudden change of punk rock/garage rhythym.
"Morbid Dependecy", this how you handle things in the wild west. If Clint Eastwood was around when this came out in The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, this is the original score for the film soundtrack. The tequila was poured down unto the sonic throbbing fused speaker. Making that riff mating with some coyotes. "Pigs", maybe is one of those tracks when you trying to fuck shit up while in a traffic jam, or getting chased by frickin pigs. You can't hear anything actually due to the thickness of that hazy vocals but who gives a damn fuck, it's all about that riff. This was used as their single from this upcoming album. Positive feedbacks were given.
"Barbaric Transition" was a knock out desert garage blues rock session, someSamsara Blues Experiment effect combined with that Blues Pills and Goat down tempo mofo, they are changing their lanes in the progress. "Black Campaign" is a trench low core fillet of pure grilled vertical barbaric riff mounted blues notes. Those Lowrider anti-depressants are working well for an stupendous debut album.
Heavy burns, and slow footing. Three kids walk into a studio with bongs and weed. Yup, Daud has been under our nose for a long time. This official video is from a Disney Movie "Fantasia"(1940) Featuring demons, souls of the damned, and a bright blued moon howling at the riff. "Lost In Sense" taken from their upcoming self-titled 7" EP & "Under The Sign of The Impending Doom Vol.1" Compilation both will be released by Sonic Funeral Recordings. Directed by their very own band members Casehorg, and Edited by Wisnu Saputro. They added a few variations in this track, they've evolved so much since I've heard them in "Pijaran Jahanam". Lumbering riffs, and an amplified burl of heaviness inserted into the holy riff. An almost 7 minutes of pure gnashing heavy doom flurry was at hand.. "Lost In Sense" mixed and mastered at Imperial Noise by Deathless band member. Without further re-do here's the Constant stoner doom momentum themed anthem "Lost In Sense"
From the minds of a pale law abiding citizen, Black//Hawk puts their aim a little higher. These five southern quartet recently premiered their single teaser for this upcoming S/T EP titled "Schizophrenia". Released by Blacksheep Recordings and Rimauman Music. We think that this album is a bit Muddy, Noise, Feedback, Raw, and Sludge-blatantly face to face dirt en-visioned with a little d-beat/crust punk essence and that abrasive Mike IX Williams vibe vocals, Non-theless being Executive Produced by Farid Amriansyah who put some of his vocals layout in the album, mastered and mixed by Jimmy(AD Studio) and a cover album art by GOORM.
Six gritty back to back tracks, as we said before, it was gritty, raw, and full dirt loathe. Songs like "Doppelgangers" is an apparition of ourselves, there are not a lot of rooms to make variations, but thats okay, I consider this is more like a an aggresive sludge-waste beatdown, Ethical and Thrashers in with manner of contempt not to be interfere with. "Schizophrenia" is the prom Queen on all of this pale and despair themed album, Charging with a buzzsaw of punk rock fury, they bleed their artery and carry on with it. The bass lines in this album represents some nasty shit of mean, it's Intimidating in a weird way after being fused in with the feedback.
"Nervous Breakdown" No, it's not that Black Flag song. Rhythmic aggresiveness continues flowing ferociously like pack of rabid dogs. It's a predictable tune if you can compete. "III(Beige Menjadi Hitam)" starts launching in with frustrating of scream and lunging in to this sludge ritted in. "Rinela" is all about that bass, deep, distorted, mean and intimidating. Plus those amplified beatdown feedback note descending on the throne. Sure, there is a moment when the brutality stands down a let the moment of soundscaping begin, they restrained their inner beast "Final Ending" is a bit post-ish ambient creepy atmosphere clouding in around you, Misanthropic and pre-emptive.
It was thursday night, thursday night was taco night for me and I was planning to watch Michael Buble live, but in this case, exceptions can be made. The show was held in Rossi Musik Fatmawati, Grieve Records. 6 bands are lining up in the tray, and people stacking up their merchandise upfront to be sell off. The show starts at 7.20 P.M, there was Dental Surf Combat, Bed Chamber, Barefood, Deathless, Gerram, and headlining in Ora Iso.
Dental Surf Combat was first on the showcase line up, I haven't really know much about this band. This is first time seeing these guys live. They play furious punk rock, with an aggresive Fuck you attitude, lyrics are basicly social issues or is it? Kids On The Move, Nervous Breakdown, Bones Brigade, and blend mixture of Jokes and a rapid harsh vocal linguistic maybe that's what describe how DSC sound like. The funny thing along the show is They play this riff part of the famously Guns & Roses guitar shredding 'Sweet Child O'mine' and Metallica's 'Enter Sandman', fast paced and deliriously entertaining. Upnext was Bed Chamber. I was blown away by how they sound playing live. Joyful, energetic, fun, and soft. Crushing course between Smoking Popes, Best Coast, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Maybe they too crossover a little shoegaze in motion. But nontheless it was really an enjoyable moment. They covered Blink 182 song with a band member from DSC. Weird? heck no!
DSC(Dental Surf Combat)
Barefood, an Indie/alternative rock, These trio step their edge up a knotch. I've heard them in their recent E.P, they played their new song from their upcoming album, cranked and a canned rock way tune session, they heat up the crowd with zizzle guitar solo, craze of sour and sweet it's a pretty nice balance if you ask me. "Sullen" breaks out and the audience go nuts, everyone was dancing and wave surfing. An Indie/alternatice rock catchy anthem, songs theme in on out from love to sadness.
Deathless was there on cause of their recent new album in the rise. 'Polyarchy', Slow seasoned, drone, ambient and blurry. Deathless once was a one man band, seeing them in 4 format people makes me really nervous, dribbling doom and fritz static feedbacks and noise. Everyone love that fat thick bass sound and the fanned down tempo guitar tune. Plugging almost 45 minutes length Deathless soar their instrumental acid drone/doom wings in Rossi. Gerram, after the sucess of 'Genderang Bencana' album, they spark a little tour in java, ferocios and violent, Gerram lighting up the room like it's 17 august, Heat and steam, Sweat and noise collide into motion, southern hostility sounding off from the guitar, and the no clean singing part. Snarl, growls and spit, are Gerram vitae to attracts the motion. Hardcore punk fury, distorted and deep loud movement.
Ora Iso is a two personnel Experimental/Noise/Post/Industrial band from Brooklyn, New York, Kathleen Delay, and Jason Kudo(Modra). 'Bathcat' a title from their recent record release. Creepy,Throbbing, and exciting, these funeral Industrial duo rivet their way up from the second they play, continously appearing very very deluded, fearsome, and deadly. Heavily distorted sound, a bauhaus - guitar tone and combine effects with the yellow dim light shade makes them even more uneglected to the eyes. If you dig Throbbing Gristle, Godflesh, and Les Rallizes Denudes, then Ora Iso is definetly fit much as character you're meaning to search.
Puberty, is the age discovery, some may led to harm others to victory. Here's our handpicked bands that in our opinion will ensure the safety of your music, well maybe not all of them are Easy listening, but hey, if don't go hard you don't go pro. Warning the following music and article maybe not suitable for weak ears. Listeners discretion advised. Here something you should know.
These Atmospheric black metal/crust bad boys carved their name to their heirloom. They ripped skies and make them bleed fire, based in Cipanas, West Java. These boys downriding Bosse De Nage, Deafheaven, Opeth, and more. This band has a lot to offer than just a whisp in the blowing wind. Ambience and entity are their fiercest weapon, the dynamic enhancement from each song are progressing to build up a certain 'Wake' to the listeners. Here's "Beyond The God" from their 2013 album.
Bringing echoes from the dimension of trance and psychedelic hallucinogen. Kaitzr soon rose to be a bloodson between Earthless and Karma To Burn, their song "The Riverman(Prologue)" achieve to be our next big thing list, slow and seasoned mid life serenity, then hits riffing you hard in the head with a frickin three rusty crowbars. The five flower travellin band is revved to mark their seed on your ear.
Trio knife battling guns blazing Hardcore Punk/Crust by the entertaining Warmouth, boys of Yogyakarta takes their throne to the new level as they gunned down every single pop culture with their fast changing hardcore punk riffs, heresy of Nails and Entombed. The death metal riveting through your inner spine. They make afterlife looked good with hardcore punk aficionados. Here's from their recent split with Cloudburst, "No Salvation"
4. True Hell
Rigged with a bomb trigger, these Metallic Hardcore/Crust martyr from Depok, is ready to do some Jihadist actions. They triggered earthquakes and explosions. Under guidance from Trap Them, Converge, YAITW. They marked our calendars with miscellanous blood lines, their music is hard driven, confidence, dark and shallow. Infused with bludgeoning and rage they soon rose to the top of foodchain. "Aphrehensive of Fear" from their recent release "Deliverance"
It's not been really clear, all that we know that this band is a one man from Bandung, an avant grande/Doom/Drone fiesco, Dealing with rigged amps of doom. SUNN, Horseback are maybe it's royal family. Distorted and deep, Intruiging and yet fascinating this make an improvement in the music Industry. Maybe filled with static guitar amps and doom actually. But here's "Ars Longa Vita Brevis"
6. Poison Nova
Black Metal strikes again, the deathly hallows grim reapers seek deception and woe in the midst of Cirebon, running down from the mountains of Burzum, Amon Amarth, Dark Throne, and Ulver they seem play it harsh and ravaging blackness. This is what actually bringing Varg Vikernes to sanity again. Abrasive, and creeping death, Brethren to the vikings. They just released their EP, "Circle of Woe" , and here's "Pagan Blood"
Bandung hardcore brigade, playing it beatdown and unsettling, after their recent album "Nazar Palagan" came out, many positive feedbacks were given. Mean and Intimidating, Sing it like no other and destorying it viciously, aggresive misanthropic combustion mechanical. This isn't just another music playing along, the creed of Pantera, Crowbar and Sick Of It All filled in their muddy waters. Deadly and sharp, that is what Taring all about.
Download the song: Taring - Nazar Palagan ( HERE )
Southern neverfelt so kind without hostility and discomfort, GERRAM are making their turfs uptown with the release of their full length album "Genderang Bencana", Discharge and Tragedy, like Bonnie and Clyde they straight up murder the rigs with fast shifting technical beatdown, crust swirling between napalm and TNT, they make a helluva Demolition Squad soundtrack. Here's the frustrating worldly, d-beat feedbacks. "Tiga Pilar Iblis"
They landed to be one of our best albums in 2015, they're like a rare breed of horses running in the field of Psychedelic. "The Wanderer" is their cornerstone to gain greater boundaries, they made themselves pretty clear with all of those guitar shredding and dynamic amps tone, We all like that Earthless, Kyuss, Graveyard, and Blue Cheer vibe. Nothing can never be wrong with that. Smoldering cosmic tunes are steadily fanned, not all out sound effects in the intro, electrostatic ambience are playing parts in this magnificent album. Bantha's, Dewbacks, Tusken Raiders and deserts storms. Who could ask more?
Static trance of dismobility and darkness by these youngbloods from the south, carving their claw in the caves of sludge and despair, Black//Hawk caught our scent. dipping cold blood with Hessian, And Converge, their southern distorted and intimidating presence knocks our guard defenseless. Down tuned sludge centers in with this boys, brutal and entertainingly fantastic, they will be releasing an EP this year. So here's "Schizophrenia"
